13 walkers stepped out on 16th October for our first ever charity walk on the Wanstead Flats to raise money and raise awareness for DLD. Two distances were available 5 Km and 10 Km.
We managed to raise a massive £1,200 via the walkers fundraising pages and we have to thank the wonderful supporters for doing the walk and raising some much needed funds. More importantly raising a lot of awareness for DLD. We must also thank The Rookwood Village Pub in E11 for allowing us to use their facilities and for looking after our walkers with a breakfast and drinks.
DLD day 2023 is 20th October.
Our next walking for DLD event will be on the 15th October 2023.
