Alongside people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and their families, Afasic has been working with NAPLIC, RCSLT and Speech and Language UK to create a new vision for the future.

Launched today, #VoicesForDLD is a movement led by people with DLD and their supporters, working to:

·                  raise awareness

·                  allow people with DLD and their families to be heard

·                  challenge misconceptions

·                  push for DLD to be recognised, diagnosed and supported

·                  build pride and identity
