Donate through Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy way to make regular donations to charity directly from your pay packet. Donations are made before Income Tax is deducted so you only pay tax on what’s left. This means that you are given immediate tax relief on your donation.

Can I give through Payroll Giving?

You can support Afasic through Payroll giving if;

  • Your employer or pension provider deducts tax through the PAYE system
  • Your employer or pension provider operates a Payroll Giving scheme

What if my Employer does not provide a Payroll Giving Scheme?

If your employer doesn’t operate a scheme, you can encourage them to start one. Details on the scheme can be found on the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) website. At Afasic, we encourage companies to establish their payroll giving through CAF (Charities Aid Foundation). Information about how to do this can be found below.

How do you start payroll giving?

  • Once your company has set up a ‘Give As You Earn’ scheme you should be able to complete a donor instruction form and submit it to your payroll department
  • Choose how much you would like to give and if you would like to give regularly or as a one off donation.

How do I choose Afasic as my payroll giving charity?

When completing your donor instruction form, you will need the following information to support Afasic:
Charity name: Afasic
Charity number: Charity No.1045617
Charity address: Afasic, St Margaret’s House, 15 Old Ford Road, London E2 9PJ

Thank you for your support in this way, as a small specialist charity it really will help to make a difference to us and the families we support.
