If you can raise £100 for Afasic – then you can be an Afasic ‘Fundraising Superhero!’
With the ongoing cost of living crisis it is increasingly difficult for smaller charities like Afasic dealing with little known conditions, to raise funding for our work and essential running costs. Afasic needs at least 130 people to step up and pledge to raise funds to ensure that we can continue to provide information, advice and support to children and families across the country, both now and into the future.
We are not asking you to give us money yourself, but rather to undertake some fundraising activity / activities to raise the funds for us.
Our challenge is to get at least:
10 people to pledge to raise £1,000 each.
20 people to pledge to raise £500 each.
100 people to pledge to raise £100 each.
That would raise £30,000, which would be enough to plug the gap in funding that we are currently facing for the coming financial year.
You could enter an event like a run, walk or bike ride, you could run a quiz night, a coffee morning, or a cake sale, get your school / employer / friends / family involved, the possibilities are endless. You can find a list of possible ideas HERE – and we will support you as much as we can.
Please sign up and get involved – it really will make a difference.
The theme for August is to run a Cup Cake Day or bake sale to raise funds.
