🍰 Cake & Sweet Treats Week – Important Update

We’re really sad to share that

Cake & Sweet Treats Week will not be going ahead this year.

With the current extreme heat, it simply isn’t safe for us to run an event that relies on fresh cakes, bakes, and sweet treats. High temperatures mean a real risk of food spoiling, melting, or becoming unsafe to serve, and we will never put our supporters, volunteers, or community at risk.

This event is always one of our favourites, and we know many of you look forward to it. We’re disappointed too — but safety has to come first.

We’ll be back with Cake & Sweet Treats Week next year, and in the meantime we’re already exploring alternative fundraising ideas that can run safely in hot weather.
