We are organising a charity bike ride for Afasic on Sunday 7th September and entries are now open.
We are trying something a little bit different this year, and the ride is a Cycle ‘Quizzy Quest!’ through the streets of the City of London, during which you will discover parts of London you may never have known existed! The start will be close to Liverpool Street Station, start time is 12.00 noon & finish by 4.00pm latest.
The ride is estimated to be a maximum of 20 miles. You can take part as an individual or as part of a group, it is up to you. Cyclists will ride to a number of different locations and answer a question, or find out some information at each point. Those taking part will be provided with a map indicating the locations to visit and a list of questions. There is no set route, that is for you to decide.
We will then all meet up again at the finish location to compare notes. The answers will be checked and a winner will be announced, with a small prize available, and then maybe have a celebratory drink! It should be a fun afternoon and we very much hope that you will want to take part. For more information and to sign up go here: https://afasic.org.uk/bike-rides/
